China's coming five years: Balancing Growth and Geopolitics

On November 3, the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) hosted a seminar featuring the release of the Chinese edition of Kishore Mahbubani's memoir Living the Asian Century. Mahbubani is regarded as one of Asia's most prominent diplomats, commentators, and strategic thinkers and the Chinese edition of the book has been translated by CCG, a renowned think tank based in Beijing.

During the event, CCTV.com had an interview with the author Kishore Mahbubani, Founding Dean of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy of National University of Singapore (NUS). Mahbubani highlights China's virtuous cycle of development driven by innovation and infrastructure, while warning of continued geopolitical competition with the United States as a key external challenge.
